iPhone app for U.S. nurses
Clear-unit calculators, a shift companion that never stores patient data, and three-minute practice cases. Made for hospitals, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing and long-term care.

01Before report
Start the shift timer, run your own pre-shift routine and log water as you go. Break mode pauses the clock. The checklist refuses anything that looks like a room number, a record number or a name.

02At the bedside
Results update as you type, units are spelled out, and the formula and its source sit one tap away. Each tool shows its version and review date, so you always know what you are looking at.

03On the rehab floor
Mobility safety, falls prevention, skin integrity and care transitions, as tickable checklists with a practice case to match. Built for inpatient rehab, skilled nursing and long-term care, not bolted on.

04Across the building
Pick your setting and NurseTools reorders itself around it: the right quick tools, topics and practice cases first. Float to another unit tomorrow and switch in one tap.

Most nursing apps stop at the hospital door. NurseTools gives inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, long-term care and home health the same attention as med-surg.

Alarm awareness, critical-care learning, MAP and neuro scoring education.
Early sepsis awareness, rapid learning, handoff habits.
Family teaching and age-specific learning.
Maternal and newborn learning, family teaching.
Mobility safety, falls prevention, skin integrity and care transitions.
Falls, skin, infection prevention and transitions.
Resident safety, restorative care and family teaching.
Visit prep, medication safety teaching and transitions.
Ambulatory workflows, patient teaching and reference lookups.
Choosing a setting changes what you see first. It does not certify your facility protocols, which always come first.
Safety first
Every tool and topic passes four release gates before it reaches you. Higher-risk tools like drug dosage and IV drip rates stay locked until each gate is cleared, even for Pro members.
How content is reviewedEvery formula and reference is traced to its source and licensed for use.
A reviewer with the right specialty signs off on the content.
Known-answer tests cover normal values, edge cases and unit mix-ups.
Higher-risk tools wait for the right approval route before release.
NurseTools is for your own preparation and learning. It never asks for names, record numbers, rooms, birth dates or diagnoses, and your checklists and preferences stay on your iPhone. Your facility device and data policies always apply.
